จากวัสดุที่มีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะต่อยอดคุณค่าสู่การอนุรักษ์งานศิลป์ให้คงอยู่ตลอดไป แบรนด์ PixCera จึงร่วมมือกับ ชาติฉกาจ ไวกวี ช่างภาพร่วมสมัยของเมืองไทย “CHARDCHAKAJ x PIXCERA”เปิดตัวคอลเลคชั่นพิเศษ ภาพสมเด็จพระพุฒาจารย์ (โต พฺรหฺมรํสี) ในรูปแบบ Ceramic Art Panel ผลงานการอนุรักษ์ภาพถ่ายโบราณสมเด็จพระพุฒาจารย์(โต พฺรหฺมรํสี) หรือนามที่นิยมเรียก “สมเด็จโต”“หลวงปู่โต” หรือ “สมเด็จวัดระฆัง” ที่ได้รับการยกย่องให้เป็น อมตะเถราจารย์รูปหนึ่งของเมืองไทยและมีพุทธศาสนิกชนชาวไทยเคารพนับถือเป็นจำนวนมากตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน ซึ่งชุดภาพถ่ายโบราณ มีการสันนิษฐานว่าได้รับการบันทึกไว้ในพุทธศักราช 2407 โดย ฟรานซิส จิตร ช่างภาพอาชีพชาวไทยคนแรกในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 4 ด้วยเทคนิคฟิล์มกระจกเปียกแบบโบราณ (Wetplate Collodion Ambrotype) และมีเพียงแค่ 3 ภาพเท่านั้น ที่ถูกค้นพบซึ่งคุณชาติฉกาจได้นำฟิล์มต้นฉบับทั้งหมดนี้มาบูรณะซ่อมแซมให้สมบูรณ์ และบันทึก ด้วยกระบวนการพิมพ์ภาพความละเอียดสูงลงบนแผ่นเซรามิก มอบทั้งความสวยงามเป็นสิริมงคลและมีคุณค่าทางประวัติศาสตร์ที่ควรรักษาไว้ต่อไป

 

 

An iconic material like ceramic can keep art alive. PixCera has collaborated with photographer Chardchakaj Waikawee in a special project, “CHARDCHAKAJ x PIXCERA”, to introduce a special collection of images of Somdej Phra Buddhachan Toh Phromarangsi in ceramic art panels. Somdej Phra Buddhachan Toh Phromarangsi is also known as Somdej Wat Rakhang and is among the most renowned monks in Thailand, revered by many Buddhist Thais from the past to the present. These old images are assumed to have been taken in 1864 by Francis Chit, the first professional photographer in Thailand in the reign of King Rama IV, using wet plate collodion ambrotypes. There are only three images found, and Chardchakaj used the original ambrotypes to restore and print in high resolution on ceramic panels, creating remarkable and auspicious pieces that help preserve a piece of history.
